Shortly after I started advertising my photography services on facebook, my friend Denise called me and asked if I would take photographs of her son and create three separate mother’s day gifts for the mothers in her family. Excited, I took on the project.
The morning of our photo session was cool and rainy. This project had a deadline, however, and Denise and I decided to forge ahead. By the time we were scheduled to shoot, the rain had stopped and the sun was peeking through the clouds. I walked into a house to an adorable little boy who did NOT want his picture taken. Knowing he had to do this, he asked me if I could please just take three pictures of him. As we walked outside, we agreed on 30 pictures.
160 photographs later, this little boy who didn’t want a photo taken was treating me to genuine smiles and silly faces. “Can we do just one more?” Connor asked when I told him I thought we had enough. By the end of our hour together, I had some excellent shots of him and was able to create gifts that made Connor and Denise, and three lucky women, very happy.
